Who will you work for?
This newly established company offers a wide range of nutritional technologies and is driven by a passion for helping farmers succeed. An on-going independent trial program is there as a sales resource providing a range of solutions to conventional and organic growers. This company will offer an experienced agronomist an opportunity to continue to develop their technical, agronomic and commercial skills.
The role itself?
From a home based office you will engage with growers, agronomy consultants and rural retailers from Bundaberg to the Lockyer Valley. You will also spend time with the technical staff, on-farm agronomists, production/farm managers, quality control managers and business managers across the industry where you will create opportunities to strengthen their understanding of the company’s products. Your day to day activities in this role will include:
Strategic sales development using CRM for regional professional & commercial contacts
Developing product positioning and implementing customer account plans.
Engaging in an on-going and progressive professional development program
Providing timely and accurate technical support to current and potential customers
Identifying market opportunities and working closely with customers to understand their needs
Engaging in technical, sales and developmental experiences with a senior team member
Offering a supportive and educational environment across the industry to increase knowledge of soil nutrition technologies
Creating and engaging in valuable professional relationships
What kind of person will fit the role?
To be considered for this position you must have tertiary agricultural science qualifications and previous experience in horticultural, nut / tree crop agronomy. It is also important that you have an ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships with agronomists and farmers alike by providing quality information and solutions.
