The role itself?
This role is going to suit a person that has a passion for soil science, GIS mapping, developing strong relationships, farming and an ability to continue to develop the businesses presence across Southern NSW. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Support the leadership of the Regional team to meet the gross margin objectives

  • Support the day-to-day management of the regional team

  • Manage and support activities and priorities of the Sales Managers in your region

  • Lead generation including prospecting and qualification of new farmer customers

  • Development of new agronomy partner relationships

  • Onboarding and training of new regional agronomy partners

  • Management of family farm and corporate farm relationships, including ongoing training and development

  • Management of independent and reseller agronomy relationships, including ongoing training and development

  • Development of sales plans for key customers, with a minimum three-year horizon

  • Validation of results and delivery of insights to customers including interpretation of data and provision of recommendations

  • Post-season reviews with key customers to ensure all agreed actions were implemented

  • Key sector and/or industry leadership on behalf of the broader sales team
