Production Manager – Food Processing & Manufacturing – FILLED BY US!

 

Due to continuous growth and planned expansion, an opportunity has arisen to restructure operations and we are seeking an outstanding person with proven experience in Food Production/ Manufacturing to join this leadership team.

This is a newly created position within the business and will suit someone who as an eye for detail, a passion for delivering results and can work within the management team.

Who will you work for?
For close to 20 years this business has been providing fresh produce and value-added products to consumers globally from their vertically integrated operations based in Bundaberg. At your backdoor you will have access to Fraser Island, the Whitsundays and world class fishing and four-wheel driving.

The role itself?
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing / Processing industry is essential.
  • Proven experience and solid knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice, Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. 
  • Proven experience managing production in a fast paced FMCG/Packaging environment highly desirable. 
  • Experience in a production management position, operating autonomously, delivering measurable outcomes & improvement. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the capability to make decisions & communicate effectively across areas of accountability. 
  • The ability to motivate line staff as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives in your areas. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to managing Health and Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement. 
  • Experience in leading, developing, engaging and motivating a large team of employees. 
  • Ability to manage work schedules unsupervised 
  • Very Good computer skills.
