Production/On-Farm Agronomist - Granite Belt - FILLED BY US!
This is an opportunity for an experienced agronomist to work with a flourishing business in the Granite Belt region across their multi-site farming system. A system that provides large scale production, innovative farming practices and high quality produce to local and international markets.
Who will you work for?
A family owned and operated farming business located on the Granite Belt. They produce high quality tomatoes, capsicums and zucchinis and pride themselves on innovation, collaboration and community engagement. Due to the expansion and growth they have achieved, they are looking for an experienced agronomist to join the team and assist in continuing to improve the farming system.
The role itself?
This is an opportunity to join a fantastic farm services team. Your day to day activities in this role will include:
- Plant health
- Soil Health
- Ensuring all quality assurance expectations are met and records kept
- Inventory Management
- Research and Development
- Manage the cost of growing crop in line with budget
- Create and deliver reports for all aspects of the growing side of the business
- Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures including staff training
What kind of person will fit the role?
The perfect person for this role will have tertiary qualifications in agronomy, proven knowledge and experience in horticultural cropping. As you will be working as part of an established farm team, it is extremely important that you have an ability to communicate, collaborate and lead.

You will be rewarded for your contributions to the business with an attractive salary (proportionate to your experience and skill set), 9.5% superannuation, full use of a company vehicle and access to all home office equipment.
