Territory Sales Manager - Agricultural Packaging - South East Queensland - FILLED BY US!

 

An opportunity to join a national and international packaging company, supplying the market with a diverse range of packaging products. Their established and growing agricultural division is looking to drive growth within the important Hay and Fodder industry across Queensland.

This strong rural business has a support and sales network in place that has an excellent knowledge of the market and the technical aspects behind our product range. With branches and sales people in each state’s capital city, they provide a strong network of supportto their customers. This business has grown to be Australia’s only local manufacturer of flexible packaging products. 

The role itself?
This is an opportunity to work from a home office and work closely with the stores and end users across New South Wales. As a key member of the sales team, you will lead sales in key hay and fodder areas like Darling Downs, Emerald, Rockhampton and the grain belt. Your day to day activities and responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively manage all communications with customers

  • Provide technical support and guidance on existing and new products

  • Meeting sales budgets and monitoring profit margins developed in conjunction with management

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key suppliers

  • Planning & co-ordinating In-store displays & promotions 

  • Resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service

  • Maintaining a high standard of customer relations 

What kind of person will fit the role?
It is important that you have previous experience with packaging products in Australia or New Zealand. We are going to employ a person that has a proven ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships that will lead to high levels of customer support and the on-going improvement of the business.
