Inventory Controller - Farm Machinery - Melbourne, VIC - FILLED BY US!

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated inventory controller with a machinery background to manage product flow through a warehouse.

The role itself?
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Stock take - Quarterly wholegood - on going parts (Warehouse) 

  • Stock correction - adjustment - machine modification-rework (parts and wholegood) 

  • Stock take -Guidelines respect (machines, parts, equipment) dealer and team (type /14) (make changes in the AS400 CDS) 

  • Equipment and machines stock inventory control/Analysis and factory ordering (extranet) 

  • Freight/transport analysis- Cost control and supplier selection 

  • Container shipping documentation management 

  • Wholegood returns procedures management 

  • Investigating, Coordinating, Fill in and Management of DWR 

  • Machines and Equipment location management 

  • Phone communication with factory team

  • Training new employees on their tasks

  • Maintaining a good working relationship with all visitors/drivers/co-workers and follow health and safety regulations

  • Dealing with any damages, missing parts and actioning the appropriate resolution

  • Liaising with onsite colleagues: daily interaction with parts coordinator, logistics coordinator, and maintain a good working relationship with all visitors/drivers/co-workers and follow health and safety regulations

What kind of person will fit the role?

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing and machinery

  • Confident and open-minded when using all technological tools (CRM/social media/machinery)

  • Strong planning, forecasting & execution skills

  • Experience in OH&S regulations associated with transport/loading and unloading/manual handling

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
