Who will you work for?
This is a diversified agribusiness and one that is going to capitalise on 500 acres of potential avocado production just outside of Bundaberg before the turn of the decade. From humble beginnings as a small avocado orchard/internal nursery this business is growing and is on track to reach full potential as a corporate sized but family owned/run orchard and nursery.

The role itself?
This position is vital in the day-to-day efficiencies of the farming and nursery operations. As the environment is fast paced and ever developing we are looking for someone with an ability to work with a small team in problem solving, designing and managing small/medium metal fabrication projects that will include building sheds, machinery and equipment.
   
What kind of person will be suitable?
We are looking for a hard working, confident communicator with a passion for welding/metal fabrication/construction. It is imperative that you have previous experience in the planning, designing and construction of agriculturally based equipment and machinery. An ability to work efficiently in with the other farm services teams to meet deadlines and ensure the ongoing flow of work is of a high standard is something that will ensure your suitability for this position.
