Agricultural Technology - Farm Advisor - FILLED BY US!

An opportunity to combine your passions for broadacre agronomy and technology in this exciting role. Work for a company that paves the way for others.

Who will you work for?

About a decade ago in southern NSW, a group of forward-thinking young agronomists with a passion for agriculture and technology started this company. Being from the land themselves, they knew there was a measurable gap in performance between traditional farming methods and the potential that lie ahead with technological advancements. This business has grown to service predominately broadacre cropping clientele across VIC, NSW, WA and QLD and employ about 15 people. They are leading the way in precision agriculture, and are driven to offer a supportive, informative and no-nonsense service.

The successful applicant will have met the following essential criteria:

Due largely to the recent growth of a business partnership with a regional association and a large corporate farming entity in QLD, this company is now looking to employ an experienced person with a broadacre farming and/or agronomy background. Your day to day activities in this role will include:

  • promoting the brands products and solutions
  • advising and supporting producers
  • liaising with and delivering information to key industry stakeholders
  • supporting, maintaining and improving key industry relationships
  • offering technical guidance and assistance direct to producers
  • progressing and developing the reach of the business

What kind of person will fit the role?

The perfect person for this role will have a deep knowledge and understanding of broadacre cropping throughout QLD and north-western NSW. They will also have a proven ability to communicate with people across the entire industry, from producers to industry body representatives in promoting the solutions that this company can provide. It is not necessary that you have an ag science degree but you must have a practical understanding of broadacre agronomy, and a passion for technology.

How will you be rewarded?

You will be rewarded for your contributions to the business with an attractive salary (proportionate to your experience and skill set), 9.5% superannuation, full use of a company vehicle and access to all home office equipment.
