The role itself?
With the support and guidance of the team you will engage with fruit and vegetable growers and farmers across the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and Bundaberg regions. You will also spend time with the technical staff, agronomists, production/farm managers, quality control managers and business managers across the industry where you will create opportunities to strengthen their understanding of soil nutrition products.
Your day to day activities in this role will include:
Effective and on-going management of all professional & commercial relationships
Developing product positioning and implementing customer account plans
Engaging in an on-going and progressive professional development program
Providing timely and accurate technical support to current and potential customers
Identifying market opportunities and working closely with customers to understand their needs
Engaging in technical, sales and developmental experiences with a senior team member
Offering a supportive and educational environment across the industry to increase knowledge of soil nutrition technologies
Creating and engaging in valuable professional relationships
What kind of person will fit the role?
The perfect person for this role would be someone with tertiary agronomy qualifications and previous experience in horticultural farming. A person that has an ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships with agronomists and farmers alike by providing quality information and solutions.
