Field Service Manager - Farm Machinery - FILLED BY US!

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated mechanical technician with a machinery background to manage a network across key farming areas in South-East Queensland.

With machinery options for farmers right across Australia, this company is now on the hunt for a dynamic territory manager to service their Queensland customer base (dealers & farmers).

The role itself?
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement Technical programmes for company products and services in the assigned region

  • Train dealers in technical operations and service programs for Balers, etc.

  • Monitor dealer performance in accordance with company General Sales Conditions

  • Assist dealers with bidding, technical problem solving, warranty claims, and marketing efforts

  • Respond to potential customer inquiries

  • Monitor and report market trends in the region and identify areas for additional sales opportunities through product improvements and/or new products

  • Review and approve call, inventory, and expense reports and other required documentation in a timely manner

  • Coordinate Company and dealer participation in tradeshows

  • Promote Company products at all sales and industry shows

  • Attend tradeshows and training outside of territory

  • Participate in the Company’s team process to develop and improve sales processes and procedures

What kind of person will fit the role?
The perfect person for this role will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the agricultural machinery industry; mechanical and/or engineering

  • Strong relationship building and/or customer management experience

  • Confident and open-minded when using all technological tools (CRM/social media/machinery)

  • Strong planning, forecasting & execution skills

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
